At Jensen Beach Dental, we take a proactive approach to dental care. This means we do our best to treat same day dental emergencies in our Jensen Beach, FL dental office.

Most of us will experience at least one dental emergency in our lifetime. Additionally, dental emergencies can be painful and scary. Having a top Jensen Beach dentist to see you through can make all the difference.

Dental Emergencies May Include One Or More Of The Following:

  • Swelling
  • Pain
  • Fever
  • Broken tooth
  • Tooth loss
  • Lost dental restoration
  • Broken dental appliance

With prompt care, we can save a tooth that has been dislodged.

If you’ve suffered a trauma, we recommend a trip to the hospital first. You or a trusted friend can contact us from there!

Your Same Day Dental Emergency Appointment

Your dental emergency appointment may consist of x-rays or another approach. Everything we do is dependent on the nature of your dental emergency.

Our goal is to save your tooth or teeth and relieve your pain as soon as possible.

Sometimes we begin a treatment to relieve pain or save your teeth and schedule a prompt follow-up.

How to Avoid Dental Emergencies

The most common dental emergency we treat is an oral infection. The best way to avoid infections is to brush and floss twice per day.

Additionally, visit our dentist regularly, and never skip your twice-yearly cleanings. Also, you should always alert our dentist to oral changes—sudden tooth sensitivity, for example.

Though less common, trauma to the face is responsible for some dental emergencies. We recommend wearing the right face guard when playing sports.
